The defense struggled against a talented Aggie offense, but the Arkansas offense seemed to find a groove. Former Gator quarterback Feleipe Franks connected on 23 of his 31 pass attempts for yards and three touchdowns. Franks will be facing his former team for the first time since transferring to Arkansas this past offseason. Sophomore receiver Treylon Burks had his third yard game of the season, hauling in seven passes for yards and two scores. The Arkansas defense suffered a huge blow when safety Jalen Catalon was ejected for targeting in the first quarter Saturday.
Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Arkansas Razorbacks three quarters in. Arkansas has been riding high on the performance of RB Trelon Smith , who has rushed for one TD and yards on five carries. Kopps allowed a run during the ninth inning of the series finale, which snapped a consecutive scoreless innings streak of 28 — one inning shy of the program record. Kopps pitched three scoreless innings against the Gators on Thursday and a scoreless ninth inning Friday…. Arkansas will expand to full capacity at Baum-Walker Stadium for the remainder of the season. This game also will have the extra storyline for this game, with former UF quarterback Feliepe Franks making his return to Gainesville as the Razorbacks starting QB. Franks signed with Florida in the recruiting class. He was injured last season in the game against Kentucky, where current UF quarterback Kyle Trask came in and remains the starter in Gainesville.
